Welcome to the Global Youth Alliance!
We are an international online forum committed to amplifying youth voices worldwide, anchored in historical reflection. By harnessing creative expression and open dialogue, we hope to empower young people to engage critically with global affairs.
Our mission is to uplift the next generation to lead the future by understanding the past and analyzing the present. Inspired by the ever-changing international stage, we created this forum as a space where youth can actively shape the global conversation–working together to build a more just, informed, and inclusive future for all.
Twice a year, we introduce a unifying theme that shapes both our bi-annual magazine issues and online conferences. Inspired by the dynamic nature of the international landscape, these themes spotlight pressing global challenges, foster cross-cultural understanding and intellectual exchange, and promote forward-thinking leadership rooted in historical awareness and present realities.
Whether through writing, discussion, or creative expression, we invite young people to reflect, analyze, and create in response to each theme. By celebrating excellence in critical, creative, and historically grounded engagement with global affairs, the Global Youth Alliance aims to amplify the voices of the very individuals who will lead our generation forward.
Our Story
In 2025, founder Sophie Lee designed the Global Youth Alliance–an online forum dedicated to amplifying youth voices on international affairs and their historical roots. In an age of unprecedented global challenges, Sophie sought the need to trace current events back to their historical roots, analyzing the impacts of history on human society. By studying the past, youth can better understand the present and move forward into the future.
At the Global Youth Alliance, we strive to guide young individuals towards participatory citizenship and greater empathy. We value creativity, integrity, and an appreciation of the past as we promote productive dialogue and historical analysis. Emphasizing youth sharing their ideas and perspectives–the individuals who will live with the results of today’s actions–we utilize creative writing and diverse art forms to reveal the impacts of history on modern society and determine the path towards a better, more inclusive future for all.
