Sophie Lee is the founder and president of the Global Youth Alliance.
Based in Tokyo, she attends an international school in Japan and has grown up in a vibrant international community. Sophie values multinational unity and unbiased, open-minded conversations. As a Korean-American who has lived in Japan and Singapore, Sophie draws on her exposure to diverse cultures and backgrounds as she analyzes history’s influence on today’s world and to foster inclusiveness within the Global Youth Alliance.
Deeply passionate about history, public policy, and writing, Sophie strives to illuminate the importance of understanding the past to better address current events and shape future solutions. Sophie is thrilled to launch the Global Youth Alliance as a platform for productive dialogue, unlimited creativity, and critical thinking, connecting and empowering youth from around the globe.
